Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
The Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is for a common-law spouse, step-child or handicapped child of an Employment Pass or S Pass holder. Pass holders earning over S$12,000 can also get a pass for parents.
Who is eligible?
- Spouse of a Singapore Citizen/SPR
- Child (under 21) of Singapore Citizen or SPR
- Parent of a Singapore Citizen or PR
- Graduate from an Institute of Higher Learning seeking employment in Singapore (we will advise you on your eligibility of consultation)
- Mother or grandmother of a child/grandchild studying in Singapore on a student pass
- Visitor seeking permission to give birth in Singapore
Letter of Consent (LOC)
You can apply for a Letter of Consent to work in Singapore if you an LTVP or LTVP+ holder who is the spouse or unmarried child of a Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR).
Who is eligible?
- Eligible LTVP/LTVP+ holders and Dependant’s Pass holders who want to work in Singapore.
- An employer or appointed employment agent needs to apply for the Letter of Consent.
- No foreign worker levy or quota required.
Permanent Residency (PR)
A PR refers to a foreigner who has been granted permanent residence status which allows them to reside in Singapore on a permanent basis.
Who is eligible?
- Spouse of a Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident (PR)
- Unmarried child aged below 21 years old, born within the context of a legal marriage to, or have been legally adopted by, a Singapore citizen or PR
- Aged parent of a Singapore citizen
- Holder of an Employment Pass or S Pass
- Student studying in Singapore
- Foreign investor in Singapore.
Personalised Employment Pass (PEP)
The Personalised Employment Pass is for high-earning Employment Pass holders and overseas foreign professionals. It is not tied to an employer and offers greater flexibility than an Employment Pass.
Who is eligible?
- An overseas foreign professional and your last drawn fixed monthly salary overseas was at least $18,000. Your last drawn salary should have been within 6 months before you apply.
- An existing Employment Pass holder earning a fixed monthly salary of at least $12,000.
Dependent Pass
The Dependent Pass allows spouses and children of Employment Pass or S Pass holders to join them in Singapore.
Who is eligible?
- Hold an Employment Pass or S Pass.
- Earn a minimum fixed monthly salary of $6,000. This is based on your salary, and not based on your combined household income.
- Are sponsored by an established, Singapore-registered company (usually your employer).
- Dependants of EntrePass holders, you can apply if:
- Legally married spouse.
- Unmarried children under 21 years old, including legally adopted children.
Employment Pass
The Employment Pass allows foreign professionals, managers and executives to work in Singapore. Candidates need to earn at least S$5,000 a month. Employers must also demonstrate that they have fairly considered all jobseekers.
Who is eligible?
- Have a job offer in Singapore.
- Work in a managerial, executive or specialised job.
- Have acceptable qualifications, usually a good university degree, professional qualifications or specialised skills.
- Earn a fixed monthly salary comparable to the top one-third of the local PMET workforce by age.
- Non Financial Services: At least SGD 4500 (increases progressively with age, up to $8,400 for candidate in mid-40s)
- Financial Services: At least SGD 5000 (increases progressively with age, up to $9,300 for candidate in mid-40s)
S Pass
The S Pass allows mid-level skilled staff to work in Singapore. Candidates need to earn at least S$3,000 a month.
Who is eligible?
- Have a job offer in Singapore.
- Earn a fixed monthly salary that is benchmarked against the top one-third of the local APT workforce by age
- Non Financial & Financial Services: At least SGD 2500 (increases progressively with age)
Work Permit
The Work Permit allows semi-skilled migrant workers from approved source countries/regions to work in certain sectors.
Who is eligible?
- Employer or appointed agent (EA)
- Malaysian workers who are below 58 years old.
- Non-Malaysian workers who are below 50 years old.
