How long does it take for various passes to be granted?
The pass duration varies according to the different types of application. Here's an approximate on some of the main applications once submitted to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Entrepass
Takes approximately 8 weeks
Personalised Employment Pass (PEP)
Takes approximately 8 weeks.
Employment Pass (EP)
Standard processing time takes 3 - 5 weeks and may be extended up to 8 weeks if additional supporting documents are requested. For certain nationalities, the processing time can take up to 2 months due to additional vetting requirements.
Dependent's Pass (DP)
Takes 3 weeks. Do not that verification for vaccination documentation is now required to be submitted for children aged 12 years old and below when applying for a new DP. The verification for vaccination documentation process may take up to 1 month.
Letter of Consent (LOC)
